Tom Olofsson, Director

Tom Olofsson started out his fund raising activities at age 12. He answered a letter from the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation asking for donations. When he realized that CF was a disease that affected kids his own age Tom went door to door and raised much needed funds for the cause.
Throughout his youth and into adulthood Tom has been involved with several charities, particularly those involving people with disabilities.
Tom graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago and from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Tom practices estate planning and elder law in Chicago and the South Suburbs. Many of the clients of Tom’s law firm have a family member with special needs and he has had the good fortune of being able to help them prepare for the future.
Tom and his wife Sue have been married for 28 years and have three adult children and one grand son. They live in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood.
Tom became aware of Park Lawn’s programs when Doris Marks invited him to the Park Lawn Golf Outing in 2005. Tom now serves on the Park Lawn’s Golf Committee and the Planned Giving Task Force.
