Steve Janiszewski, Vice President
Steve Janiszewski is currently serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors. He has spent the last 16 years volunteering for many fund raising activities such as Zazz, and Tag Days. His family also hosts a Golf outing to benefit Park Lawn. Steve and his family found out about Park Lawn while looking for a placement for their daughter, Cara. She is currently in the Workshop program and resides at home with her parents. According to Steve, she always has a smile on her face when she gets on the bus to “go to work”.
Steve has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Chicago State University. He has been employed at C&S Training since 1993 and currently serves as President. Prior to that, he worked in banking for 23 years. Steve is married and has 4 children. He is proud of his three sons who take an active part in Park Lawn’s fund raising and activities.
Steve feels that the most memorable thing about Park Lawn is seeing his daughter get up every morning and look forward to going to work with a smile on her face. For her, the finest accomplishment is feeling good about herself daily and of course, “Cashing her paycheck” at the bank! Steve also states that “serving on the Board has been both rewarding and demanding. Seeing the workshop program, the clients, the facilities, and the staff makes me feel privileged that I am a part of it and makes me realize that I have an important role in maintaining a quality of service that is synonymous with Park Lawn”
